Best Time to Schedule
Recommended: 32–36 Weeks
The ideal window for a 3D/4D ultrasound is between 32 and 36 weeks of pregnancy. During this time, baby has developed enough fat under the skin to show beautiful facial features, while still having enough room to move and be visible.
Before Your Visit
Drink plenty of water in the days leading up to your appointment — hydration improves image clarity
Eat a light snack 30–60 minutes before to encourage baby to be active
Wear comfortable, two-piece clothing for easy access
Bring your support people — this is a celebration!
