💪🏽 Heart, Hustle & Muscle: Move, Mama, Move! 🫀

FREE Pregnancy & Postpartum Health Kits Giveaway!
At Heart, Hustle & Muscle: Move, Mama, Move! , we’re committed to supporting mamas at every stage of their journey. Thanks to the American Heart Association Empowering Maternal Cardiovascular Health Grant, we will be giving away FREE Pregnancy & Postpartum Health Kits to participants!
Each kit includes:
Automatic Blood Pressure Cuff – Monitor your blood pressure to detect early signs of preeclampsia and hypertension.
Thermometer – Stay on top of infections, which can escalate quickly postpartum.
Pulse Oximeter – Track oxygen levels, an important sign of potential heart or lung complications.
Why is this important? Pregnancy-related complications don’t end at birth! Having these essential tools at home can help new moms and birthing people recognize warning signs early and seek medical attention promptly.
Postpartum Warning Signs to Watch For:
Severe headaches
Vision changes (blurry vision, seeing spots)
Swelling in the face, hands, or legs
Chest pain or shortness of breath
Heavy bleeding or passing large clots
Persistent nausea or vomiting
Fever over 100.4°F (38°C)
Extreme fatigue or dizziness
Rapid or irregular heartbeat
These warning signs can indicate serious conditions like preeclampsia, peripartum cardiomyopathy, postpartum hemorrhage, or infections. By equipping mamas with these essential health tools, we aim to help prevent complications and ensure timely medical intervention when necessary.
